In our final week together, I invite you to have a go at writing 500 words that capture the climax of your story. Every twist and turn in the book should have been leading-up to this moment – it could be a battle scene, a confrontation, a discovery or solving a great mystery. Use characterisation, evocative description, dramatic tension and whatever other tools you have to capture your reader’s imagination.
